Emergency appointment

I have an emergency psychiatric appointment on Thursday that I just received in the post. I am 2 weeks into a brand new job. I can't not go, I desperately need the appointment in order to get better so that I can stay working. How do I go about this. Thank you.

I think you just need to tell work you have a hospital. Appointment say you have had it week s and you need to go you don't need to disclose what it is if you don't want too.

If you don't want to say then say it's gynae or something.
