What drug helped your anxiety?

Suffered from anxiety all my life, which if bad for prolonged periods, leads to depression.

Was on Fluoxetine for about 5 years which was fairly successful, but I came off due to sexual side effects.

I feel I am slipping again and anxiety is now taking over my life and impacting my work.

I'm having to take Nytol to get to sleep at night and am in a constant state of worry/anxiety/fretting/hand wringing and general stress all the time.

Some days I can just about cope, others I really struggle, I am permanently exhausted due to the mental pressure and stress I am constantly under.

About a year ago I tried a series of other ADs - Venlafaxine, Sertraline, Mirtazapien, Citralopram and none of them really helped with the anxiety, plus they all had the same sexual side effect.

To be fair, Mirtazapine did a little bit, but I couldn't function or think clearly at work, plus they made me very short tempered and angry and probably more depressed.

So, what drugs have you taken that successfully treated your anxiety?
