Things are going too fast

I was diagnosed with bipolar years ago and although at times I have been very unwell it is largely well controlled.

Right now though it doesn't seem to be. My brain is going very fast and I can't focus on anything for long. Just a few days ago I was having thoughts of suicide.

This isn't good is it?

No it's not good. If you feel up to it please go and see your gp, maybe they can review your medication and offer you some support x

Thank you. I know I should do something but it's really hard to ask for help. I'm under the Community Mental Health Team and I spoke to them on Friday and was expecting a call back today but no-one has rung.

Ring them back, please ask for help, you've recognised you're struggling which is a good sign so before things get unbearable keep asking for help and if the CMHT don't respond phone your gp and get a same day appointment x

I did have a call from the mental health team late last night and we have a bit of a plan.

I'm sure life wasn't meant to be this hard.
