Is there anyone out there really struggling with emetophobia right now? I feel horrific every single day.

Is there anything out there that helps you? I'm totally desperate x

Hi there, I've had this phobia for 21 years now. Started when I was 6 and never got better. Have you had this fear for long?

Rob Kelly's Thrive programme has helped me a bit. You can buy it on line. I redo it every so often and it does help. Not a cure but it helped me more than CBT did.

I’m an emetophobe too and these norovirus warnings are driving me insane. I honestly struggle to think of much else. Particularly at night because my biggest fear is to wake up sick!!

I can’t even remember when I started being like this, I must have developed it in my teens and I’m in my 40s now. Really wish I could be rid of this in particular as it’s got worse in recent years.

The last few days I’ve been feeling sick off and on and tonight it suddenly got really bad when hubby was feeding the kids salmon and I smelled it. Nearly gagged. I actually took some anti- emetics but I’m so afraid that they won’t work or I’ll take them too late. 😩.

Really would love to know if anyone has overcome this phobia, it has me absolutely paralysed with blind panic.
