My daughter age 15 is really struggling at the moment. She took 14 paracetamol on Sunday but thankfully then told us when having a panic attack. She is alive but so down and depressed.
Today I received a email from her school giving her a detention due to her not having handed in homework 5 times (hugely out of character for her in her years there she has never had a homework detention) I will admit I burst into tears and returned an email telling them how offensive I found the email and asked they reconsider this straight away.
On calling the school I got a huge apology and agreement she will not get a detention. However we are still waiting for CAHMS to contact us. My daughter just sleeps and Oh i want to help her so bad.
