Health anxiety

I know lots have it and I've had it forever. I've had counselling and have a good understanding of how and why it happens but I've also accepted it's part of me.
Lately I've been bad. Worried about MS or Motor Neurone Disease because I've fallen over a couple of times. Logic says it was uneven floor with ankle boots, health anxiety says otherwise.
How do people cope with the black cloud days of health anxiety. I just want to stay home but I make myself go to work which is probably best.

I always think every symptom is something serious. The doctor knows this so she explains why I can't have what I fear I have.
On bad days I dwell on symptoms all day so I have to find things to distract me. It's good you go to work.
