Hi everyone
My doctor has prescribed Sertraline just over two weeks ago and even though she said I may feel sick and dizzy, I'm getting loads more side effects.
I feel worse if anything not better. I'll list what I have - nausea, dizziness, headaches, sweating, anxiety and feeling extremely jittery. Is anyone else feeling this way?

Hi,

I'm on Day 11 and upped to 50mg at Day 8. I have a headache today and feel achey, lethargic and sore jaws. My head is also buzzing.

Do you drink caffeine? I found antidepressants exacerbated some of my symptoms. I had to sort out my diet then they started to work more.

I've been on and off sertraline since for about 20 years now. I think at the start it made me feel queasy, jittery, maybe even a bit hyperactive at times, but it did pass. I did get off it but ended up back on it again in about 2015. Went through it all again but now I don't feel it. I think it stops me getting too low but at the moment I still feel a bit low - mostly manifesting as a lack of energy or interest. Anyway, it is normal, and as long as you feel you can persevere with it, it can be a huge help. However if it's too much it might be worth seeing the doctor again as there are alternatives which might suit you better.

In any case, I hope you get the boost you need x Flowers
