You can hold on until then.
Maybe you need something to eat?

PatricksRum · 14/10/2019 07:00

What are you watching OP?
Hope you managed to get some sleep, only a few more hours

AudacityOfHope · 14/10/2019 07:45

Even baby steps are massive steps.
One thing at a time. Remind yourself you've done well after you do something! Even if it's one thing a day, you're always getting closer to feeling better. It's not going to be easy and some days you'll struggle more than other days but that's okay! Rome wasn't built in a day and what you're building inside your own mind takes time too.
By reaching out you will have become important to anyone who has posted on this thread. You do matter and even though we're all people you've never met; you'll always matter to us.
Never give up. You are worth it.

Hi @Chocolatethief,

We're sorry that you've had such a difficult night. Hopefully by now you'll have seen your GP and will have a bit more support in real life.

As usual when threads like this are flagged to us, we're adding a link to our Mental Health resources. There are lots of organisations listed which could provide you with some support, so please do take a look. You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected] or call them, anytime, on 116 123.

We'd also like to share some info from the Mind website - they have a really useful page called Tips for everyday living which may be helpful.

Sending good wishes Flowers

Been to the doctors and she is seeing me again in 2 weeks given me 3 days of zopiclone to try and help me sleep again was very supportive but did say this is probably the worst that she has seen me but said its understandable with everything I have going on, due to see my care co along with meeting my new one in an hour so really scared about that and need to say how I am feeling but not sure I will have the guts to in front of someone who is leaving and someone I have never met before.

I'm glad you saw your doctor and that she was helpful.

It is really important you tell the care workers how you feel, they can't help you otherwise. Could you write it down to show them .. or even show them your post on here?

I hope the zopiclone helps you get a bit of sleep. I've taken it a couple of times in the past and it did help.

Chocolatethief · 14/10/2019 16:54

I wanted to say how I was really feeling but it was to intimidating so didn't that and my care co was saying about how well I am doing and I dont want to disappoint her by saying well actually I'm not wish I had let my doctor ring her this morning now. I've had zopiclone in the past last had it a couple of weeks ago and it does help but it seems to be that it's only working when I take it and the second I don't I'm back to not sleeping which hasn't been the case in the past but maybe this time will be different.

Star Well done getting to your appointments!
Maybe next time you’ll feel comfortable saying more.
