My partner isn't very well at the minute I thought it was just head cold but he's on antibiotics plus steroids and all I did today was ask if he was on about 5 times threw the days and at night time when he went home I rang him he wouldn't pick up the phone when he finally did pick up the phone he says I'm not very well can't you get the fxxxking hint just leave me alone I will be staying at home until I'm better i won't visit don't want be a burden to you I told him to jump in bed earlier have a bath rubbed vick on his chest made him tea make sure he took his antibiotic and I'm the bad one I don't understand I only asked if he was ok so he left me in floods crying myself to sleep sorry for long post just need to rant

There was no need for him to be so nasty but it does sound like you’re being a bit overbearing.
It’s annoying being asked all the time if you’re ok when you’re clearly not and the other person knows that, and calling him relentlessly until he picks up is not on really.
It would have been nice if he’d dealt with it politely but he’s probably snappy from being unwell and the constant badgering was the last straw.
