I am normally an active person with 2 kids & run my home & look after my 2 kids as single mum on routine etc. make sure they shower daily, feed etc. but these days it is a struggle& even for myself, there are times that I find it hard to have my shower going a whole day or 2 without shower. This is very very usual for me as I do normally have my shower at least once a day even though there are times I do shower 2 times a day, especially during summer. Could my lack of motivation to shower, go out and cook these days be depression?

I would think it could be. Constantly doing for others and never having me time ime grinds you down. Do you get me time ?

They are symptoms that can be attributed to depression, certainly. However, quite why you're experiencing depression at the moment could be due to various causes, some of them possibly physical, so a visit to your GP to discuss how you're feeling would be a good starting point. But as the previous poster suggested, lack of you time is likely to be a contributing factor at least. Sorry to hear you're going through this, OP. Sounds overwhelming, so it's really positive that you're questioning things. Opening up here is a good place to start Flowers
