i have been of them for two weeks and feel more depressed, anxious, stressed, and panicky than ever.

I can't get an appt with GP so might start them back up - or do i persevere for a few more weeks?

Is this what they mean by AD's being addictive? - soon as u come off them u feel u need to get back on them ASAP.

Ads aren't addictive.

The reason you feel you need to go back onto them is probably because you came off them too soon in the first place - they need quite a long time to be allowed to work. You don't say how long you were taking them for, or whether you stopped taking them at the GP's suggestion, but most GPs expect you to take them for at least 9 or 10 months once you find a dose which is suitable for you. You need this amount of time to allow the brain to start producing seratonin on it's own again.

It's worth noting that sometimes you get side-effects from coming off the ads, and those side-effects can include anxiety and depression. Did you just come off them cold-turkey, or did you withdraw gradually?

Hi, it took me nearly a year to come off seroxat from 20mg. Sounds like your having withdrawal symptoms, go back and see your doctor they might put you back on a low dose to stabalise.
