How do I find a therapist in Leeds/West Yorkshire/UK that specializes in Complex PTSD/trauma?

Had lots of therapy, with mixed results. Meds not helpful.

When I search on internet I find lots of therapist who deal with PTSD or trauma. I'm looking for specifically help for Complex Emotional Trauma. I can't find anything

Have you tried the Counselling Directory? I’ve experienced emotional abuse and have found therapy very difficult, but helpful. I had the most success with two therapists who were trained in EMDR. We didn’t do EMDR, but the therapists were able to help me with the really difficult emotions that came up for me while I was seeing them. They were also the most flexible and the most humble. It might be a coincidence that they were both trained in EMDR, it might be more about their personality.

Be very selective. Dd is in that locality - she found a therapist, charging sixty pounds a session, who claimed to be an expert in the issues dd needed to address, but was uninformed and not helpful. And consequently lost her client.

The therapist who actually helped me make progress (emotional abuse plus) was a 'senior psychological therapist', officially. NHS. Lancashire.
