Yesterday i had an appointment with my psychologist and when got there said to receptionist was there to see dr..... so she takes me name and tells me to take a seat, appointment time came and still no dr, anyway 40mins later a dr comes through and calls my name - not the dr i usually see so said i couldnt go into the appointment, the dr asked what was wrong, and my support worker told her i was meant to be seeing dr....... the dr that called my name said she wasn't there and she was filling in for her. So i got up and was heading for the door, the receptionist asked what was wrong, so i said i couldnt go into the appointment with that dr as she is abrupt and arrogant (had an appointment with her previously and felt it was a wasted appointment) my support worker asked if i could have another appointment with my usual dr, the receptionist said she would email the dr secretary to see what they could do as my dr was off. This has been playing on my mind and i'm wondering if i was wrong to walk out and not attend the appointment.
