Nightmares about tomorrow

Hey not sure if this is the right place but hey ho. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or can offer advice.

The night before big days at work (I work at kids holiday camps) I have constant nightmares about the day ahead and things going wrong. For example I'll dream the day will happen and I'll lose a child, or someone gets injured. Or I'll dream we're late to a trip I've booked or something. This happens constantly. I'll wake up, realise its like 3am and the day hasn't happened yet, then fall asleep only for the same thing to happen again.

This happens a lot and not just with days like this, although these are the main ones.

Anyone else experienced this? It's horrible and I'm so sleep deprived!

I should add, before people tell me I shouldn't be looking after kids that in all my years I have never once lost a child, had a serious injury, or missed a trip booking. I am never ever negligent and risk assess pretty much every minute of every day!

I work with children as the safeguarding/ head of Ofsted and I can confirm that you aren't alone.. I tend to find the more organised I am (slick processes in place) at work, the easier it is to just go back to sleep during the night.
Other than that it's the realisation that worrying at night isn't going to solve anything.
I'm sure a lot of people have the same (just not with children) so take comfort in that.
I'm sure it'll go very well tomorrow!
