Sertraline and quetiapine

Hi i have been on sertaline which is fine but the pych I had an appointment with has given me quetiapine to take in the morning. I took my first one today and it made me very sleepy. I have emotional instability so dont know why he prescribed quetiapine.

Quetiapine can be quite sedating. What dose have you started on? What are your main symptoms?

Quetiapine is very sedative, normally recommended yo take at bed time, though I do take a small dose in the day also.
Ive found it to be a very effective meditation for me
