Life is just crap at the moment. Everything's going wrong. I suffer with toilet anxiety, partial deafness, problems with my middle ear, suffer from headaches, have a urine infection and a bad cold. To top it off I have zero friends so never ever leave the house without the kids, sit on my own quite a lot as husband works and had friends and hobbies. I've got to travel 5 hours on holiday and my anxiety is sky high. Blood test next week to test for diabetes so I really scared about that as I'm at risk for type 2. Apart from my kids, and occasionally my husband I have nothing

I feel for you, I’m the same also general anxiety. It can be one of the most debilitating illness.

I too don’t have friends mainly because of anxiety, lots of people don’t understand it and will come out with. Oh just do it, so for mainly that reason I prefer myself.

Are you on any meds?
I am, but I still have the bloody thing
So debilitating most of the time, to the point I’m scared to go out.
I’ve got to the point now that if I do go out on my own I’m not comfortable at all my breathing is all over the place.

How old are you kids? Once you’ve been to the toilet, is your anxiety ok then?

Thanks for replying. My anxiety is better than it used to be. I've had it for a year and no one knows about it. It's when I go out in the car mainly. I worry about needing a number 2 as there have been a handful of times over the years I have been so desperate to go and only just held it in. I can go out on my own or with the kids and walk, take the bus ECT and I'm ok. But i have to go somewhere where there are toilets. I couldnt go to the woods ect. When my husband drives I get anxiety but like I said it's a lot better than it was. I'm not on any medication. My kids are 18-15 months. I'm dreading the drive on holiday because we are following my mil so feel that if I keep asking to stop everyone will get annoyed. My main concern at the moment is with the diabetes check next week. I'm scared I'll have type 2 as I'm at risk.
I had 2 friends but since I have my 2 youngest I don't hardly see 1 of them and the other I haven't heard from in over a year. I just sit in most days

Oh so you can still go out, it’s mainly knowing there’s going to be a toilet
About.
You can always say you’ve got a tummy bug before you go, so may need to pull in at the services.

I don’t know how u manage to hide it from family, as that must be so stressful to cope with.

Do you mean age 18 & 15mths
If so that’s a big difference, bet you had a shock how hard it was all over again having a young one.

If you have a young one, you could go to the park or baby group, there’s toilets there
Also shopping centres,

Wish mine wasn’t this bad at the moment!
Panicking a bit today because it’s so hot, couldn’t sleep last night and only got off at 4am.

You’ll be fine if it is diabetes?
As type 2 is controllable and you can reverse it eating the correct foods.

How longs the car journey

Princess752 · 23/07/2019 17:19

I have 7 kids ranging from 18years to 15 months. The car journey is at least 4 hours but we have travelled 3 hour 3 6 times already this year so I'm sure I'll be fine but I don't like travelling with other people and mornings are worse for me as that's when I usually need to go to the toilet. It must be hard having social anxiety. I'm ok in certain situations with others like I meet my mum for lunch ect. I have changed my diet already to low carb, no sugar and did it twice when I was pregnant for 9 months but I'm terrible with food. I've also noticed (which is obvious really) that the less I eat (especially junk food) the less I need to go to the toilet.
