Hallucinations

I've been diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder (Bipolar type), Depression, traits of EUPD & I have Epilepsy.
I take anti psychotics (25mg Aripiprazole) as well as other meds but when I get stressed, anxious or overtired I do get breakthrough psychotic symptoms.

Anyway last night I went to a party. I didn't drink or take drugs & I watched my drinks all night so didn't get spiked. I was in bed by 12 as I worked from 2 til 8 pm & was very tired. I had taken my meds on time. I'd enjoyed my work shift but felt a little anxious at the party.

This morning I woke up at 730, I was wide awake & my cami top was hanging on the wardrobe door. I could see a real life 3D face & body of a fluffy black cat coming out of it.
I shut my eyes & opened them & it was still there. So I walked towards the top & it the cat was there until I was right in front of the wardrobe then it vanished.
I put the top in the wardrobe. I knew straight away that it wasn't real & that it must've been a hallucination as my actual pet cat took no notice at all. Plus I'd just been dreaming about a black cat.

I should contact the crisis team but I'm a bit wary. I havent felt too well recently mentally & physically so perhaps this is a sign I need help? Should I contact them? Does anyone else here have these kind of symptoms?

Not taking Citalopram or Paroxetine by any chance, are you? I know I had hallucinations on both of them, it's a known side effect. I had a whole conversation at work with a customer who wasn't there.

Hypnopompic hallucinations, where you hallucinate when coming out of sleep.

I haven't been diagnose with anything like the same as you but I do get this. I also get it when I'm mostly stressed or worrying about something, I've been told it's my anxiety coming out in my sleep... though it does make me wonder if it's something more.

Anyway back to the point, perhaps give yourself a few days and see how you go, if you continue having these episodes then yes I would go do something about it. It could just be a blip.
