Esa been stopped

Hi girls,I'm new to this but here goes,I've been in esa for about 2 and a half years,but come April I went to my good friends house and I found him hanging and as I went in his bedroom he fell bk on the door and I was locked in with him,prioue8to this I was on the sick for deppreshiton anxiaty8and panic attacks,so obviously this has made me worse but since April I've also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia so not o my have my pills been doubled I've been put on naproxen and 8 codine a day,so I've missed 2 medicals they rang me last week and asked over the phone why I didn't attend so I explained but yesterday I got a letter saying my excuse wasn't good enough and they have stopped my esa 😑 what is the best road for me to take please,also during all this I've been put down as a bordelin alchoic xx

Don't quote me on this but either a) you'll have to reclaim ESA from scratch (might now be part of Universal Credit depending on which area you're in), or b) you must contact the DWP office dealing with your claim (eg. mine is in Belfast although I live in London) and ask for a mandatory reconsideration, setting out your reasons in writing for not attending your WCA appointments, with any medical evidence you have (photocopied - keep the originals).

At the very least you ought to make a CAB appointment and ask them to help you, they'll be able to advise on your situation in ways that I can't.

I'm sorry you've been through the awful trauma of discovering your friend's suicide in such a horrific ordeal. Hard as it might feel, though, you now absolutely must do what you can to look after yourself. Put you first, and get your income sorted out Flowers
