Sertraline?

My GP has prescribed me Sertraline and I was wondering if others had any personal experience of it? How long it takes for it to work? Anyone experience side effects? Did it work for everyone else? I’ve got info from the GP but was after some personal experiences.

My DS takes it for anxiety and it has really helped!! Def ,like all these meds give it time to work ...approx 2 weeks to start feeling any benefit. Am not aware of any obvious side effects in my DS case but it can ( like all meds ) have side effects !!

I've literally just posted a similar question last night. I started it yesterday, it's already making me feel peculiar, just hoping I don't get any of the awful side effects I've read about
