I'm new to this type of thing but I really need some insight, from anyone ! I was diagnosed in March 2017 with Borderline Personality Disorder. I struggle all day, every day, especially with my son. He'll be 5 in July so he's at that testing age as he grows. He's not a bad child, it's my disorder that makes me struggle with him.
I feel it's getting to a stage where he's very aware of my mood and behaviour and I want to be able to explain to him what's going on without going into too much detail. Is he still too young to know about any of this ? Or is there an age appropriate way that I could communicate this to him ? Any advice is appreciated.
