Sick note for stress and bereavement

Please could any of you tell me when you think I have to return to work. I was signed off from Monday 10.6.19 to 24.6.19 as I was not coping. Dreading going back to work. A silly question but which day do I return next week? (I think I know the answer but just wanted to check). Many thanks x

I’ve recently been off and my sick notes have been up to and including the last date so 24/6 you would be off, due to return 25/6. If you’re still struggling, why don’t you ask for some more time off? I had 3 months off after my Mum died. It was a really difficult time, I couldn’t function, I’d only started my professional job a few weeks before she died. It was the right decision for me, I got a different role and a fresh start after 3 months.

I need to go back really as I’ve been off a while with annual leave, compassionate leave and 2 weeks sick. I’m so glad it’s Tuesday xx

Mum died almost 12 years ago, yes I’m okay now but you never forget how it impacted on you at the time.
