Suspect child has personality disorder

Hi all, hoping for some help and advice as I suspect my 18 year old child has a personality disorder.
It’s been very difficult for the past couple of years which I had put down to very challenging teenage behaviour. Has become more obvious that it’s more than that. I cannot make my child seek medical attention and I have to be very careful about saying anything in order to avoid an outburst.
I’m a single parent, father absent and very unsupportive.

Any and all help welcomed.

I suspected DD had borderline personality disorder, but after paying a lot of money for a load of tests, her psychiatrist now thinks she has PANDAS - which I don't entirely understand yet, but I do know it is to do with excessive amounts of Strep bacteria which has affected part of her brain. She also has vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and possibly an underactive thyroid. There is a thread within Mental Health about supporting kids with anxiety & MH problems - you'll find lots of support there if you fancy joining in.
