How do you come off them?
I manage a week absolutely fine and then can't cope so go back on them Sad

Maybe you are not ready to come off them? I want to come off mine but I cant until I've sorted out the cause of my mental illness and had some treatment.

It also depends on what your are on and what dose. They should be reduced a LOT slower than most doctors suggest. I reduce by a tiny amount at a time and for something like venlafaxine it took a month to settle in each lower dose before I could even consider dropping it again.
If your depression is coming back when you decrease (and staying bad) then go back up a dose, it's not the right time.

i am tapering off mine next month. I think a month at a lower dose sounds like a good idea as you get through one whole monthly cycle.
