How to understand myself ADD or MH or ‘personality’

I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety (take medication) but see a lot of ADD symptoms in myself.
At work they have this whole personality test thing we are all having to do and we’re revisiting at the team day tomorrow.
How do I work out if the aspects of ‘me’ are personality, MH, something undiagnosed like ADD?
I’m both fascinated in an objective way, and keen to understand myself to do all I can to be able to function better.
Any thoughts? Any way I can get a more thorough diagnosis of what’s happening with me?

It is hard to answer. There is correlation- ADHD can cause depression and anxiety because of screwed up life/barely able to stay on top of life and having your self esteem battered by being never good enough as child. Depression and anxiety can make it difficult to function in every day life, so you look like you have ADHD problem.

It is for specialists to untangle.

There are things that point towards ADHD:

  • persistence of symptoms
  • inattentive/hyperactive no matter how good or bad life
  • childhood symptoms
  • in your happier times did you notice you had problems with working memory, impulsivity, forgetfulness
