I'm pretty sure I'm depressed but I hate going to the gp. Does anyone know of a way to combat it without medication?

Go to the GP to get referred for therapy. Don't let them push you on to antidepressants. Try the headspace app, swimming and / or running! Hope you're ok and talk to your friends / family about it. It's cheesy af but a problem shared is a problem halved 🌸

In some areas you don't need to go to the GP for a referral to therapy and can self refer to IAPT services. You can find you local one on google by searching IAPT and your area. They provide CBT based talking therapy.

If you can afford it you can also pay for therapy privately. This allows you more choice over who and what you go for.
