Sertraline

Hi just wandering if anyone on here is on sertraline and what dosage?
I've recently gone from 100mg - 125mg, and have just heard something about serotonin shock syndrome.
We're sertraline can add to much serotonin and make you really poorly.
Any help x

Im on sertraline, have been on anything from 100 to 150mg...I dont think thats considered a particularly high dose. from what I have read serotonin syndrome is to do with taking another AD for some reason as well as your usual..? For example I have chronic pain issues and was prescribed another AD a while back, but came across serotonin syndrome when googling and decided not to.

How did you feel on the higher doses? x

The higher dose was what I needed at the time since my mood was dipping. I noticed no side effects from going from 100 to 150 and my mood did pick up after a couple of weeks. I have since gone back to 100 as a kind of maintenance dose, and it was fine cutting back. (But really notice if I miss a day or 2!!)

I've been on them two days and have felt rotten. Had abit of a temperature and felt just like I'm full of cold and bunged up. Going doctors tomorrow see what they have to say x
