Anxiety getting bad

So a bit of background, I have bipolar disorder and am on medication for that and have been stable for over 2 years but these last 2weeks I've been feeling really anxious and it's getting worse.

If I go to my gp what are the chances of them prescribing me something for it? I'm already on beta blockers for a heart condition so don't think they'd prescribe propranolol for it. I had anxiety this bad about 3 years ago and was given a 2 week supply of diazepam but idk if they'd give me that again and I can't take antidepressants. Any help/advice would be appreciated thanks

Hi @ragingchocoholic,
Didn't want to read and not reply. I'm not sure if they'd prescribe you anything but the only thing that you can do is go in, explain how you're feeling and see what they say.
Have you ever had counselling or anxiety management sessions for it?
