Has anyone taken sertraline before?

Has anyone taken Sertraline before? What were your experiences? I have been prescribed them today but after reading the leaflet I am scared to take them x

Hi Mumoftoo19,
I've just been prescribed Sertraline myself this morning. I've read a few threads on here about it and skimmed over the side effects, but I decided that my depression/anxiety (assuming that's why you've been prescribed it too?) is worse than the risk of side effects that might never happen. I honestly wouldn't worry about the side effects too much - take it and see what happens. Good luck x
