So my DD (10) has had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep for 1.5 years. Have got her all the help and she turned a corner and was a bit better. However she seems to have regressed lately and this has massively triggered my anxiety and insomnia.
I had chronic anxiety brought on from insomnia 4 years ago and I feel like it’s all coming back. It was a nightmare 6 months but I worked hard and got over it. Trying to use all my CBT tools but the dr won’t give me my trusty zopiclone (which I used very sparingly). That in its self makes me stressed as it was my safety net.
Just spent another night awake using nytol and stomach is in knots.
Any other tips? Am reluctant to try any drugs due to side affects. Going on holiday on 3 days and worrying about that as I will ruin it all for everyone being stressed.
