Fluoxetine - feeling really tired - does it get better?

I have started taking Fluoxetine for mild depression, and mood swings. When I say mild depression, what I mean is that I was still going to work, looking after DC, etc but would find myself constantly sobbing and just feeling really low. Also, bursts of anger about stupid stuff.

Anyway, have been taking it for 10 days and I know it’s early days, but I am feeling a lot more chilled out. BUT it’s interfering with my sleep and I am exhausted. I have never had problems with sleep. Very occasional nocturnal panic attacks but otherwise I sleep really well. But since taking fluoxetine I have not been sleeping well. I don’t feel like I am sleeping very deeply and I have been waking up in the middle of the night/early morning and struggling to get back to sleep. I am sooo tired. This is not good as I have a demanding job. Is this likely to pass?

I’ve been taking Fluoxetine for 7 months now and the tiredness has been an issue. my prescription is 10mg, I get soluble tablets and remove the smallest amount before taking - so I take around 9.5mg and this works much better (my gp is aware of this).
I still sometimes wake at night and have found that if I play white noise from an app sends me back off quickly.

I go through phases of sleeplessness and audio books really help. Sometimes only getting up and pottering about the house then going back to bed to 'reset' bedtime helps.

It took me about a month to start feeling better after starting fluoxetine.
