My 14 y o son is coming off sertraline. He was put on this for anxiety 15 months ago. He was on a dose of 25mg per day. Last week, we cut the dose to 12.5mg. Gp suggested a further week at 12.5mg then stopping. Has anyone else managed this without withdrawal symptoms? Would anyone recommend dropping to 6.25mg every day the 6.25mg every other day?
Any advice gratefully received.
