Hi there, name changed through obvious embarrassment, but a long time poster here.
On Sunday evening at around 8pm I did something stupid and took an overdose. DP took me straight to a&e and after being on a drip and being monitored until yesterday, was discharged at around lunchtime.
I don't have down on record any pre existing mental health problems, after my physical health suffering last year I went to my GP with low mood and was just sort of fobbed off.
I have a good life, great support system, no one particular trauma so I didnt really know what to say to the hospital's psychiatrist when he asked why I did it. Things just got too much.
After arriving home yesterday I received a call from I want to say the home care team? Something like that. They're sending a nurse round to my house today but didn't really say what for or why. Does anybody have any experience of this that they would be willing to share, or let me know what it would entail? It's all making me feel quite anxious. My kitchen and living room are nice and clean but my bedroom/ensuite are an absolute disgrace just from not coping really- will they want a look round?
I'm 21yo woman, no kids FWIW.

Just realised how long that is, so sorry I just didn't want to drip feed. If anyone knows what I can expect from this visit, that would be great Smile
