Terrible numbness

I have been through extremely difficult, traumatic times. I was upset, distressed at 100 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Now a few years later I feel so numb, like all emotion burned out.

I had such a terrible blow today, but I can't even cry. I would like to cry. Why can't I cry.

Sorry to say the tears will come, but it sounds like you are in shock now. Stages of grief work differently for everyone. Would you like to talk about what happened? It might help?

You're not ready to cry right now and that's perfectly OK. Can you sleep do you think?

Thank you for your answers. I'll try to sleep.

I hope you can get some sleep, but know there are people here if you want to talk x

I hope you managed some sleep and are finding today a little more bearable. There are still people listening if you want to talk Flowers
