Do I have a mental or psychological illness?

I wonder if anyone can relate to this at all? I am 34 and since last August I have developed and been diagnosed a new random dysfunction every single month. The symptoms are like what you would get from an injury including plantar fasciitis and spine injury, carpal tunnel, sinusitis, eustation tube distinction and other random things. I feel like I'm always in pain and when something settles down something else starts. I also have shooting pains and muscle spasms. I've no idea why it keeps happening and wonder if it's my brain or psychological. I don't have usually anxiety symptoms like fast heart rate or chest pains etc so maybe not anxiety? I'm just always in pain somewhere then it goes and I get a new pain.. anyone relate? What is it?

I wondered about fibro but I don't have any other symptoms like extreme tiredness or hairloss

Fibromyalgia is just a name given to a set of symptoms. You cannot test for it and not everyone experiences everything on the list eg I don't have hair loss. It is a chronic condition and I suffered from many of the symptoms from childhood only developing chronic fatigue 8 years ago after a virus.

I see, wow...so how would I or a doc know if I had Fibro?

They do a symptom checklist and then test you for everything else it could possibly be and if it isn't one of those and you have enough of the symptoms on the list they identify fibromyalgia. It basically makes it easier for you to get treatment and support if you have a name for what ails ya.
