Just needing a bit of support really. First time I’ve been admitted (I was admitted yesterday) no idea how long I’ll be in here for. Anyone else in the same boat?

I’m not but I work in one as a nurse. The nurses on the ward should be able to help. Have you gone in voluntarily or detained ?
Please speak for the staff, they should be 100% there and ready to talk to you.
I hope it’s a good stay and you feel better soon, rest and have good chats with the doctors when they see you x

Voluntarily I think. Never mentioned section, just said I have to be in hethe. Feeling pretty crappy tbh, although everyone seems alright so far.

I’m sorry you feel crappy. All the wards I have ever worked on give everyone a named nurse. Someone you can talk to each day. Worth finding out who yours is today so they can talk you through ward life and things like that. Xx

And if you are voluntary length of stay will more than likely be negotiated between you and the doctors x

A very dear friend of mine is currently in hospital -she's been in and out since the new year
I hate her being in hospital but it's helping her so much
Hope you're doing ok in there 💐
