I just wanted to post this to give others hope when applying for PIP on the grounds of MH. I have Bipolar and applied 4 yrs ago but got 0 points and didn't see the point in taking it further.
Last summer I applied again and got 6 points (2 less than min requirement), I decided to do a mandatory reconsideration and got only 1 point more. I then applied for a tribunal hearing on papers (don't have to attend) with little extra evidence and was awarded 9 months later with 25 points! what a difference in their decision to the DWP's with virtually the same evidence.
