How do I believe the doctors

I've recently had a health scare, blood was found in my urine so had to go for an cystoscopy and kidney ultrasound, both were thankfully clear, my problem is I'm still worried about it, the consultant told me there was nothing found on the scans but I still worry incase something was missed. I'd hoped after the scans I'd be ecstatic, but I'm still worrying. Anyone able to help me?

What are the benign reasons for blood traces being found in urine - do you know? Because if they’ve ruled out the scary things then presumably it’s something which isn’t a concern.

Was it a lot of blood or just a trace? My recent test had a trace but as all the other tests were clear the doctor said it was probably just because I was due my period, which came a few days later. Could that be the reason here?

It was found on a dipstick, I've not actually seen any blood in the toilet, I'm just waiting to do a 24hr urine ' to round things up' the consultant said but he did say nothing was found on the scans so I should be pleased. But I suffer health anxiety n I'm finding it so difficult this time. X
