Natural Anxiety Relief

Hi everyone

I have generalised anxiety that has been and varying levels of severity for the last 6 years. It has been pretty good for a while and I haven’t taken medication to control it in about 10 months but I’ve changed jobs and life is a little unsettled (nothing bad just natural change) and I feel it creeping up on me.

While it is still largely in control I wanted to try some natural options to try and manage things and avoid going down the medication route. Although if it became necessary i will do that.

Does anyone have any natural remedies or coping mechanisms that I could try and implement?

I struggle with anxiety at night (part of why I’m writing this, hoping your replies will distract me) and have been looking in to weighted blankets. Has anyone got one and found it useful? If so what one? They are very expensive so I want opinions before considering buying one.

Ok done rambling.

I take valerian when I'm feeling like this. Just helps to ease the symptoms a bit. I also saw a herbalist for a while who prescribed a tincture for me to take, it did help but isn't the cheapest option!
