Where to get diazepam now

Mental health team can't get description out today (tomorrow at earliest. I talked to them). There is no appointments left at gp surgery for today. I am in crisis but not suicidal, so crisis team is not an option.

Also cmht duty officer told me I can't get it anywhere today anymore.

Can you request a call from a GP, they should be able to write an emergency script for you?

The pharmacy you usually get your prescription from may be able to help. Please ring them or pop in.

I don't have diazepam on my repeats. Gp receptionist said that they are fully booked for evening surgery, so probably no time for calls. Duty officer told me that I can't get it without consultant prescribing it, and he is having his clinic going on atm.

With my cmht my cpn can drop a prescription or you can collect it from the htt offices at the hospital. Do you have an out of hours service or cpn you can call?

Your local pharmacy won’t give out emergency doses of diazepam without a prescription.

Call 111 and ask to speak to an out of hours GP. They should be able to arrange an emergency prescription for you

I don't have a cpn anymore. They have out of hours service, step-up care, but they can't get the prescription from the consultant anymore today.

Are you physically addicted to it? Because they wouldn't refuse to prescribe due to the risks of withdrawal.

If its a one off prescibed dose for panic you may have to wait until you see your consultant.

I am not using diazepam because it doesn't help on my usual problems. I have been offered it several times but I won't bother.

Atm I have a bit of a crisis that a document on dv triggered. I was in dv relationship 14 years ago but no problems since until I saw the document. I have been shaking and feeling very nervous since last night. I have been trying to get some from this morning. I just can't snap out of it.

Went through my medicine boxes and found one old diazepam. I took it and I feel tiny bit better now and I think I am able to wait till tomorrow

I went to see gp and got weeks worth of diazepam. No contact from cmht...
