Bipolar and OCD

Hi all,

I'm new to this part of the site Smile

I have struggled a lot throughout my life with various symptoms and seen a lot of medical professionals. Bipolar Type 2 was always mentioned but now I have had a "official" diagnosis of that but also combined with OCD.

I guess I had some misconceptions about OCD so this has taken me by surprise/shock. Does anyone else here have any experience of being diagnosed with bipolar type 2 AND OCD?

I have bipolar and ocd. I’ve never had any treatment for the ocd but I take medication (lamotrigine) for the bipolar.
