Hi, I'm just looking for some advice on the tablet, I've been put on these for postnatal depression.
Just wondering if anyone has been on these, did they work for you and any side affects come of it ?
Thanks in advance

I used Fluoxetine (Prozac) for a while for pnd and they pulled me out of it. The only side effect I had was sickness and weight loss. I hope that these work for you.

I had the worst restless legs for the first three nights!!

but after that, very good, didn't get the problems with weight gain that I got with citalopram.

I take this and had a bit of nausea and a headache for 3 days but they've been great at sorting me out

I’ve just been put on fluoxetine - I’m on day 3 and I feel awful, nauseous and headachy. I’m glad to read these replies that it gets better! I came off citalopram due to weight gain so I’m hoping this will be better.
I’m really not in a good place and I’m hoping things will get better soon.

Yes be good to keep posting on this thread see how we are doing. I have tight chest too but it’s anxiety. I just need to get through this to the bit where I start feeling better but it’s not easy is it

I was on fluoxetine for PND about 8 years ago and have just gone back on it again for depression and anxiety. Quite honestly, it has saved my life. I have had nausea this time but it’s gone now after about the 3rd week and I feel so much better - am managing my anxiety more easily and have hope and optimism again. Good luck OP, I hope they work for you too.

Hi everyone, just wondering how you’re getting on? I was on citalapram for 2 years. Had nothing for 12 months and now today I’ve started fluoxetine. I also had a lot of weight gain from citalapram but put it down to post pregnancy.

So far so good - the first time I took citalapram I had a massive head rush and felt awful but nothing yet today. Would love to know how you’re all finding it 4/5 weeks on?
