Dental sedation clinics

Hello ! I’m needing some advice I’ve been referred to a sedation clinic for dental treatment and now I’m worried that their only going to offer IV sedation instead of inhalation sedation so does anyone have any knowledge of clinics and if they offer both kinds of sedation or only iv?

Pretty sure all the ones around here do IV. It's better anyway though, you don't feel sick after like you do with the gas and the needle is tiny. Once it's in your hand you won't give a fuck either way.

I’m not bothered about the after feeling and I’ve had gas before and it worked wonders I know it’s pathetic haha but my main concern is needles I just can’t stamd them and with the gas I just don’t care about them it’s so annoying but do the clinics only offer iv surly there’s an option ?

Have you asked the clinic you've been referred to, or asked the dentist who made the referral? This would be the quickest way to settle your nerves about this.

This is my other issue my dentist literally just gave me my dental plan and said I’ll send you for referral and sent me away with absolutely no information about it or how to get in touch with them and it’s left me really rather confused haha and I don’t know how it works x

Ring your dentist up. He'll give you the company's number who he referred you to then you can ring them and see what kind of sedation they offer

Okay I’ll do that thank you I really hope it’s not just IV surly there’s other options available too ? I hear about all these people being offered gas for dental work and no matter how hard I try or search or call company’s I can not find it anywhere it’s literally bringing me to tears aha
