I need a bit of a handhold and to be told to stay really, i have been in hospital waiting for a mental health bed for 11 day now and im finding it really hard to not just discharge myself i know i need the help and i want it but evem though i know its no ones fault im going crazy waiting this long and starting to feel like no one care. I know if i did go home i wouldn't be safe so i know its not really an option at the moment.

Wait for a bed, it'll be worth it in the end. A friend of ours had to go to Lancashire and we're in Devon, so you see how short they are. If you discharge yourself you'll be back at square one

Sorry I can't help chocolate you must feel so let down I'm guessing because you did nothing but wait they think your crisis is over

granadagirl · 02/02/2019 18:57

Do you live on your own?
I can what your saying regarding crisis line, they just tell you to distract yourself, make a drink. Is there anybody with with etc etc.

You should ring them and tell them you want a visit as your unable to do any of the above.

Do you see a psychiatrist? Have you got a follow up appointment?

Chocolatethief · 02/02/2019 19:12

Yeah i live on my own and they wont come out at this time and yes i do and my care coordinator is going to speak to him about my meds
