Hi everyone
On January 3rd my partner left me and his 5 year old daughter. He claimed he didn't love me and that his happiness had to come first.
A month on and he's getting help from his gp and it appears he has depression. He sees his daughter at the weekends but I'm so very lost.
He is almost ignoring me and saying he needs to deal with it himself and with the Doctor. I can't help but feel so lost. I don't understand why he has said such hurtful things and is pushing me away. Is this part of the condition?
Apologies for the long post. He works away a lot and his father has had treatment for cancer over the past year as well as his uncle passing away. I feel all of these have triggered it. I just wish he would come back to his family.
Has anyone been through a similar experience and come out the other side? Is it normal to feel so impatient?
