Does it actually do anything? Fobbed off with it because I'm pregnant but swear it does nothing

Phenergan is an antihistamine that also sedates . My daughter is prescribed it as a sleeping pill. Maybe it was prescribed to you as something mild to take the edge off anxiety?

No it was supposed to replace diazepam x

I found it useful on a PRN basis when I was an inpatient

My dh has it at the moment for sleeping. Completely knocks him out and he has noticed he’s not as been as anxious as he was lately

I don’t think you’ve been robbed off as it can work as a sedative. I had an awful reaction to it though so be careful particularly if you’re pregnant.

You can get it over the counter as Sominex too, works well for me as a sleeping pill.

I've used it for flights to help me sleep and because I sometimes get motion sickness. It does make me feel tired but no less anxious
