Ever been so low you couldn't even be bothered to post about it on MN?

Well to top a particularly sh1te month.

I went to my GP on Wednesday about my lumpy boobs. He referred me for an immediate Ultrasound and Mammogram - I went today.

I was absolutely and utterly bricking it . So much so, that I couldn't even bring myself to post on here.

I don't think I can take much more on the rollercoaster of my life at the moment .

I had the mammogram - and was then told, that I needed a further ultrasound to rule out any problems with a dense mass. The good news is, is that it's all ok (Fibroadenosis).

Whilst I am thrilled there is no problem, I just cant pick myself up today. Not helped by chronic lack of sleep (the most sleep I have had is 2 hours unbroken in 8 weeks).

Oh poor you
The exhaustion would be bad enough by itself, without everything else as well.

Well done for finding the energy to post! Can you find the energy to get yourself something nice to eat?

oh dejags

what a rollercoaster you're on

{I'm sorry i haven't been in touch, my email still won't send anything out, and my hotmail one keeps freaking out too. I can recieve them though so if you want to sound off in words, you know where i am. I'llsort it all out soon and be in touch}

Thank you

DH is taking DS1 out tonight, so hopefully if I can get DS2 and DD down at a reasonable time, I can spend a few hours recharging.

Normally this wouldn't be so bad, it's just compounded with DD being so ill and now having to watch her like a hawk.

Ah hello LTH, did you see I was looking for you on your "did anybody miss me thread"?

Hope you are well. How is the delectable DS4 and is your DS3 feeling better?

ds3 all better, but ds1+2 off school with sick bug.

I feel like florence nightingale today.

I did see you on my thread but lost internat access again after I started it....and then forgot to go back to it.
I have the brain of a flea

I'm sooo glad it's nothing serious, dejags.

Worrying does make you feel exhausted.

Is there anything any of us can do?

I hope you manage to have a bit of a rest over the weekend.

{hugs}

Dejags you need to make sure you don't fall into the deep dark pit of depression. No one unfortunately will pick you up so you need to dig deep and look after yourself. I dont mean to tough talk you but this is true. Get some exercise (it works) this will also probably help with the sleep which is no doubt the real reason you are feeling so down.

why only 2hours in 8 weeks?

foxey, dejags has new baby who has been seriously ill in hospital.

suedonim · 29/06/2007 15:36

for you, Dejags. As well as the possibilty of pnd, maybe you're also suffering from the delayed effects of the shock of dd's illness. And your worries about yourself just compound the situation.

Is there any way you can get a bit of help with the children and/or housework, just for a few weeks, to allow you to recover your equilibrium?

Foxey · 29/06/2007 15:38

Ohhh my God I am so sorry!!!!!! I had no idea. I am new to mn and obviously not mastered it, I feel terrible. Again sincere apologoies.

dejags · 29/06/2007 19:41

No worries Foxey. It's actually really good advice on the whole.

I am going to try and get out for a walk on my own this weekend. If anything just for a bit of fresh air. Won't help much when it comes to improving DD's sleeping patterns but I think it might lift my mood.

Suedonim - I am very lucky in that I do have a cleaner who is pretty good with the children. It's school holidays here though, so I have the kids all day which makes having a sleep in the day pretty impossible.

I feel a little better this evening. Thanks all :-)
