Hi - was hoping someone could tell me what normally happens, if there is any followup.

DD was seen by the MH crisis team after crashing out of university. They were helpful and would have sent me on a course to help her if we had lived there. She had an appointment with the psychiatrist but that never resolved as she had to cancel it and was not given another.
When she came home, she saw the MH nurse in our area a couple of times and was then discharged. Our local team were not keen to take her on and very anxious to discharge her Hmm

Our surgery keep making unspecified 'review' appointments for her then ringing me up when she doesn't turn up.

The first time she went and the doctor did not know what she was there for and did her bp and had a chat and she said that she would sort it, and that was it.

The second time, I had the (different) doctor ringing because she did not turn up having failed to get round to cancelling it and she then rang them back and they said they would sort it.

This time they made her an appointment and she is away so of course did not get the letter in time to cancel it and the 2nd doctor is ringing me telling me to get her to make an appointment when she comes back, and also for blood tests Confused.

Is this normal behaviour from GP surgeries, or are mine just strange?
