Just avoided psychosis

Since my summer psychosis my gp can increase my antipsychotic if needed. The understanding was that if I get early symptoms like hallucinations gp can change the dose. It is faster than me calling cmht.

I am now in holidays way from home and started to see things. At that point I didn't think it was abnormal so kept going. Eventually dh started to say I am paranoid and behave erratically. I asked him should I increase my meds and he agreed. Now I am feeling much better and I think I am ok. Only need to see gp to say I have increased the dose independently.

I think I am finally able to manage psychosis :)

Well done x can i ask if your psychosis is part of a wider diagnosis eg bipolar, bpd, and also what you see please?

Vicious2018 · 02/01/2019 18:17

Yes, I have schitzoaffective or bipolar, not sure. I see corpses, wolves, rats etc. Latest one was an evil looking Joker. I only see things when I am getting worse.
