Can anyone recommend a therapist - Manchester

I've NC for this.
Suffered depression throughout my life. I feel it's getting worse the older I get. It's related to complex childhood abuse that I experienced throughout childhood and late teens.

I feel as though I'm on the brink and I really need to find a good therapist. Have read about schema therapy but can't find many reasonably priced ones. Willing to travel with the north west for this.

Thanks

I tried looking for a schema therapist but couldn't find one.

Myself and a friend (I have lower level childhood difficulties - witnessed Domestic violence, friend suffered neglect and emotional abuse) have both used Shelley willman in Leeds. She's very down to earth which I really value.

Can I suggest you take a look at a therapy called Human Givens? Immensely helpful for a family member's depression. Aim is to make big improvements in just a couple of sessions, and it does not focus on "talking therapy". Google Human Givens Institute to find local practitioner
