Bipolar and obsessive thoughts

My d's has asd and bipolar. He is also suffering from very compulsive obsessive behaviour. He is non verbal so it is difficult to know what is down to mood. Has anyone experienced overwhelming compulsions with their bipolar?

Well only limited experience.. I have a thread or two on my own circumstances, but yes my BF as he got more and more manic did. Lining things up, checking phone apps to see if he was "safe". Can you get help?
